If you feel itching, pain, burning or a bad smell in your genitals, you are likely to be infected with one of the common genital infectious agents.
Trichomonas vaginalis causes typhomoniasis, a non-viral sexually transmitted disease. The fungus Candida albicans causes candidiasis, a common fungal inflammation of the genitals in women and men. Gardnerella vaginalis causes bacterial vaginosis.
Causative agents can be detected using the Patris Health® self-test for common sexually transmitted diseases.
